INX DIgital booth exhibits the Mimaki JV33-160.

Mimaki JV33-160 uses UISS (uninterrupted

ink supply system) for continuous print-

ing is standard on JV33 machines. The

JV33 can utilize two cartridges per color in

4-color mode. When the ink cartridge runs

out, another cartridge begins supplying ink

and helps prevent running out of ink. Ink

cartridges can be changed during printing.

However realize that Epson-style rectan-

gular cartridges potentially waste ink and

are so old-fashioned that even Epson has

developed a better system for their newer

printers.
